    Blades of glory…
Things i LOVED about blades of glory were the fight, the plays, and weapons, i liked them because the fight was something where you were determined to see your guy win, i loved the plays because they were not only educational, but funny, funny because liked seeing the students play as and do the actions of people long ago. Weapons was my personal favourite because of how i got to hold that real axe, it felt like i was back in time.

When my Class went to blades of glory it was about first nations and medieval times. Things I liked about “blades of glory” was all the infomation about everything and how they really explained it so people can really get what they did and why. Also that is was hand on activities so you can feel what the objects feel like. Things i did not like was that you had to scream really loud and it gave me a headache. Also something That needs to be improved is that there should of been more time at different stations because it seemed that they were rushing so the people couldn’t get to what hey wanted to say. I would recommend “blades of glory” would be to my cousins because i think they would really like it. That it was i think about my class trip to “blades of glory”

Blades of glory was fun in all but i do have have some likes and dislikes. My first like was the Weapons section in the circle of the activities. I liked it because it was entertaining in a way of seeing the men shot the gun. The second thing i liked was the hoop dancing it was fun because of the cool tricks like the Butterfly action. One thing i did not like was the Stadium setup but the way i was seeing it in my head was like the stands were like cut down trees on their side and a WWE ring around in the middle. One thing that needs to be improved was the real fighting i thought they were going to try and like hit and strike their opponent hard enough to knock them out. I would recommend Blades of Glory to my Cousin because he loved the medieval times so much that his imagination gets into the act.

Have you visited Blades of glory yet? If not you should because it is very informative and fun. My class went there and i liked a lot of things about it. They told medieval stories and had fun activities to go along with them. I enjoyed hoop dancing because it was creative and I enjoyed trying something new. The professional hoop dancer was amazing and I had tons of fun watching her style of dance. I liked making the bookmark with my name in different language because i didn’t bring money to buy a souvenir and the bookmark is now my souvenir. I didn’t like the station about the history of the Jesuits because there wasn’t really an activity and I found it kind of boring. Something that could use improvement is the fact that it wasn’t very realistic. It should be improved because i think if it was more realistic it might draw more people to the place. I would recommend blades of glory to another grade 4 or 5 class because it involves both learning for grade 5 and 4.

Have you been to blades of glory? It is a great facility(outdoor) about the first nations, vikings and medieval times. 3 things I liked where the fighting because it was fun to watch and cheer for the teams. I also liked that it was not just about medieval times it was about all the early settlements in europe and north america because Mr.vella said it was for the grade 4’s in our class but ended up where we learned a bit to. The last thing I liked was the tents the tents they set up where like the ones that some sub arctic tribes used in the summer so that they did not have to keep building the igloos and them having melt from the heat even though it was still cold. I did not like the weapons station because they had real weapons that can kill! I held an early mace a giant rock with a giant stick that could clobber enemies in one strike! Some thing that I think should be improved is to have a longer time at each station so that we can learn more so that later on we can be proud to know a bit more than we learned this year. I would recommend this trip to my brother Nathan because he wants to learn about the first nations before he learns them later on so he could understand what the teacher is saying.

Yesterday my class and I went to Blades Of Glory in Campbellford. It was all about medieval and first nations people. Some thing that I liked there was the weapons and when the gun was shot. I liked that part because it was really fascinating to see what weapons they used back then. Something that I didn’t like was the shortness of time that we had at each station. I didn’t like that part because they didn’t really get to explain a lot of information. Something that could’ve been improved was the amount of participation in the groups because not many people got to participate. I would recommend Blades Of Glory to a grade 4 or 5 class because it’s all about what they would be learning about in social studies. That’s my review about Blades Of Glory.

I liked the Blades of Glory trip. The first thing i like is the weapons because it was cool to see the weapons they would’ve used the second thing I liked was when the hoop dancer danced with 22 hoops before the fight and were we learned about the priest. The first thing I did not like was the big fight because if the other knight had a clear shot he backed away instead of hitting him or poking him with his sword. One thing I would change was the way a knight won because if two classes were representing a colour and one class was representing another the colour with two classes representing that colour would be louder.

Three things I liked about Blades of glory was one they gone back 100 years ago. I liked it because they needed volunteers from the audience to help them with are learning and their presentation. My second thing I liked about Blades of glory was when the girl went in the middle and used 24 holahops. I liked it because she did AMAZING at it. She must of practice a lot before doing the presentation. One thing that should improve on is making more stations longer so we can learn more. I would recommend Blades of glory to kids from the ages 7-12 because the teenagers would not be ingaged with it. Out of all it was AMAZING.

Yesterday I went to blades of glory. Things I liked about blades of glory was the fighting. The fighting was funny to watch and really cool. I also liked the hula hoop. I liked how we all got to actually try the dances. I did not like the part where you had to scream because it gave me a headache. Something that could be improved is that there was a activity at each station. I would recommend blades of glory to my cousins because they would like most of the stuff like the fighting, the hula hoop dance and the weapons.

Have you ever been to Blades Of Glory well I have and it was the best trip I have ever been on and I will tell you a little bit about it. Things I liked about Blades Of Glory is that how they hula hoop dance there it is so cool and when I tried it was kind of hard. Another thing I liked was the music was really nice and it was relaxing to listen to. Also some things I did not like was that when we had to scream to win the fight that our leader was in and when we screamed we had to scream your loudest and it really was giving me pain in my lungs. Also something that needs to improve is some more time for the stations so we could actually learn some more things about that certain thing. I would recommend Blades Of Glory to grade 3 to 6 because grade 3ś could learn this kind of stuff and grade 6 would be a good grade to stop to because I would say that would be the grade you would stop learning about this kind of stuff.

Things I liked about blades of glory are the FIGHTING and the weapon station because the fighting we got to cheer on our knight he was the purple knight. And the weapon station was cool because we got to see a guy shoot a musket.also there were lots of knives. Some things i didn’t like there were it was really loud because you have to cheer for the knight that you want to win. I lost a bit of my voice because i yelled so LOUD. something that should be improved is the seating the wood was really uncomfortable they should make a bit more comfortable like at some other areas had stone benches. I would recommend this to kids that are into medieval times because it’s all about medieval times

Blades of Glory had lots of different activities such as torture and singing but my favorite activite was the reptiles! They had snakes and lizards that you can feel they were very cool! Another one of my favorite activities was the fighting, the knights foght with swords and axes in the arena! But one activite I did’int like was the hoop dancing it was really hard and boring. I think that next year you should maybe make some of the activities more interactive for a lot more fun! I would definitely recommend Blades of Glory to other classes! ,

During my time at blades of glory on June 19 some of the things that I liked was when we were at the station of the hoop games. The reason why I liked the hoop games was because it was really interesting and we got to learn how to do some really cool moves with the hoops and the person that taught us was super good and she was professional.Another thing that I liked when I was at blades of glory was when all of the nights were fighting.I liked the fighting because it was fun and new also we had to scream really loud. Some things that I disliked about blades of glory was when we had to scream really loud for the person that was representing ur class. The reason I didn’t like the part where we had to scream really loud was because it hurt my throat sallot and it even made some people lose their voices. In my opinion some things that need to be improved at blades of glory was the seating. The reason why I think that the seating needs to be improved is because when the nights were battling against each other the people in the back row could not see them so they had to stand up so i think that they should use bleachers so that everyone can see next time.i would recommend blades of glory to another school.I would recommend blades of glory for another school because i think that it was fun, exciting, new ad allot of other things.

The things I liked about blades of glory was the fight and the animals. I like the fight because they were able to use any weapon they wanted and pieces of the shields were flying off because they were only hitting the shields not the person. I like the animals because I like to see animals that they had that helped them live. The thing I didn’t like was the amount of time we had at each station because we didn’t get much time at each station. We only got 3-4 mins at each station. I think they should have an activity at each station to help use learn about it in a fun way. I would recommend this to my two younger cousins because I think they would like to see all the cool things back then. And that is what I think about my trip to blades of glory

The things I liked about blades of glory is the ancient cause I got to write my name in a language I never even heard of so I think that was cool.I also liked the reptiles because it was cool to know that the tortoise was related to a island. But some the things I did not like was that we had to scream all the time because a lot of people lost their voice because of it I could not even talk after so i think that they should fix that like the king and queen could say who had better skill and then they could decide who won.So I think they can fix that.I would recommend this to a teacher or kids because it was a lot of fun and i learned a lot of things to.

    Blades Of Glory

Blades Of Glory was one of my favorite class trips here is why It was my favorite what I didn’t like and what I think needs to be improved. One thing I liked about blades of glory was the hoop dancing because I do dance and to try a different cultural dance was very cool. The next thing I liked about blades of glory was the writing/language because I thought it was cool to learn how other generations used to write. The last thing I liked about blades of glory was learning about vikings and the voyagers the reason for that was because I always found those types of things very interesting. One thing I didn’t like about blades of glory was the yelling for your knight because after on the bus ride home i had a very bad headache from all the yelling. The other thing I didn’t like was when we were yelling to see who was going to be the king and queen I found it wasn’t fair because one group had 42 people and we only had 23 so obviously they would win. One thing that needs to be improved was they yelling and just have someone win because obviously as I said it gave me a headache. One other thing that needs to be improved is to try and get the teams even as possible even if they had to make a new knight/team I would recommend this to my cousin because he loves knights and castles and learning about that stuff. That’s what I thought about Blades Of Glory I would love to go back and i’m sure anyone else who went before would agree with me.

Have you ever been to blades of glory in campbellford ontario whell i have do you want to know what it is like? Okay.there were 6 stations the stations were all of these

    .reptiles
    .music
    .christianity
    .weapons
    .trades
    .hoop dance

Some things i would change is to be fair because we were the loudest against the last guy hammer fist fought we were so much louder but i would change the time at each station because they were explaining to much and i could not remember a lot.

Have you ever been to the Blades of Glory if you haven’t you need to go it’s a fun place for your family and you learn all about everything that happened back then. The thing I liked about the trip I liked the how the groups have leaders and instead of voted we had to scream to vote who you want to win and the animals they made a good story for that spot it almost made me tear up but I saved it in the end thankfully. The thing i did not like about the trip the writing is what I did not like it was pretty boring because I had a short name even with my last name it was fast and I get how it is cool because it’s different way to say my name but there no uses to me at least. The thing that needs to be improved on is more thing then just chips like you can have more than just chips. I would recommended the blades of glory to my family because I would want to go and have a day of just fun outside and I think blade of glory is the perfect spot to go it was fun time there.

On 2017 06 19 I went on a class trip with my class [4/5V] to Blades Of Glory in Campbellford, Ontario. Things I liked at Blades Of Glory were the music station because we got to sing and hear music from early France and early England and I also liked the hoop dancing because it is cool to do a dance that was created for storytelling long ago when the First Nations where around. Things I did not like were the battles because you could tell that the fighters were acting so it did not look like they were actually battling other that I really did not dislike anything that much. Something that I believe needs improvement on is the battles I believe the battles need improvement because you can tell that the fighters are acting. I would recommend Blades Of Glory to kids at the age of 8 to 12 years old I would recommend Blades Of Glory to this age group because There is learning involved that younger kids may not understand to well like the writing that we did that people used long ago and I would recommend Blades Of Glory to this age group because people older than 12 might find it boring because they might have already learned some of the things that you at Blades Of Glory. That was what I have to say about my class trip to Blades Of Glory Campbellford, Ontario.

On June 19 I went to a place called Blades Of Glory in Campbellford Ontario. Things I liked at Blades Of Glory was the music because all of the instruments were very cool.Things I did not like at Blades Of Glory was all of the screaming because the next day I got a headache. What needs to approved upon is the level of time at each station. I think so because most people didn’t get what they wanted to say said. I would recommend Blades Of Glory to my friend maddie because all of the music and cool stuff at the gift shop.

On Monday June 19, 2017 we took a class trip to Blades Of Glory in Campbellford. Blades Of Glory was cool what I liked about it was on one of the eight stations I got to role play as a viking it was fun except when I died at the end. The trip was good but I did not like the crowd getting to choose the winner because some groups were bigger than others. I don’t think anything needs to be improved on but the one thing I can think of is maybe make the fighting space bigger and the fights more realistic because no one could hit the green because he did not have a shield to hit. I would recommend it to grade 3 – 6 because grade 3 would be more interested in the stations and like the fight. But grade 2 or younger would just want to see the fights. That was my thoughts of the trip.

  23. thomas says:

What should Blades of Glory from the three things I like is the weapons armor and stuff the three things are disliked. We’re that they could have used more of the newer weapons to show what they could have did and couldn’t of did or show like when is different what the First Nation people would use. Things that they should improve as have different types of weapons and stuff from the newer and from Blades of Glory what they would use that’s what that’s my opinion it’s not anybody else’s.

  24. Jackson says:

    Blades of glory

Blades of glory was an experience of good and bad. The good part that was i learned a lot about history in medieval times like music, dancing, reptiles and more and at the end there was i fight but i did not see because i got sick but some things i did not like was it was all outside and it got real hot and there was not a lot of time at any learning area and that’s all my fed back to blades of glory
